Athens, Ga. --- Julio Borbon's two-run triple lifted Tennessee to a 7-4 win over Georgia in 11 innings Friday before a Foley Field crowd of 1,874.

Tennessee closer Sean Watson tossed three scoreless innings in relief of Craig Cobb to earn the win while Bulldog closer Joshua Fields got the loss as the Volunteers rallied for three runs off of him in the 11th. Cobb along with Georgia starter Mickey Westphal gave their teams eight solid innings before turning it over the bullpen.

Georgia (23-14, 6-10 SEC) went up 1-0 in the first. Jonathan Wyatt drew a walk and came around to score when Josh Morris singled to center and Tennessee centerfielder Julio Borbon committed an error. It was one of five miscues by the Volunteers.

Tennessee (23-15, 6-9 SEC) took a 4-1 lead in the sixth. J.P. Arenicibia started the outburst with a run-scoring double as Chris Kemp came home after a leadoff single. Then, the game went in to a seven-minute rain delay. When play resumed, Kelly Edmundson reached on a fly ball that dropped in shallow right. Second baseman Michael Rivera followed with a two-run double. Cody Brown then added an RBI single to cap the scoring.

In the bottom of the frame, the Bulldogs pulled to within one at 4-3. Singles from Wyatt and Jason Jacobs put runners at the corners. Freshman shortstop Gordon Beckham then delivered a double to right allowing Wyatt to score and Jacobs to move to third and then he came home on the play when Volunteer right fielder Brian Van Kirk committed a throwing error.
