November 7, 1959 - Charlie Britt returned interception 100 yards to set Georgia record in victory over Florida.
November 7, 1981 - The UGA football team knocked off the Florida Gators for the second year in a row. Late in the 4th, Georgia created a 95-yard game winning drive with Herschel Walker scoring a 1-yard TD with 2:31 remaining.
November 7, 1987 - Georgia's "Junk Yard Dog" defense shut down Emmitt Smith and the rest of the Florida offense as the Dawgs shocked the Gators, 23-10. The Dawgs put the game totally out of reach as Lars Tate sailed through the air on a 1-yard TD play with less than 5 minutes remaining in the game.
