November 26, 1960 - With Georgia Tech leading the Dawgs, 6-0, the Georgia offense came alive to defeat the Jackets, 7-6. Bill Godfrey's three yard plunge tied the game at 6. Durward Pennington's extra point sealed the victory for the Bulldogs.
November 26, 1966 - No. 7 Georgia shocked No. 5 Georgia Tech 23-14, the Yellow Jackets' first loss of the season. Kent Lawrence electrified the Sanford Stadium crowd with a 70-yard punt return in the first quarter and Dennis Hughes intercepted a late Tech pass to help secure the win.
