October 24, 1942 - Lamar "Race Horse" Davis caught passes totaling 198 yards against Cincinnati, setting Georgia's single game record which stood until broken when Fred Gibson recorded 201 receiving yards vs. Kentucky in 2001.

October 24, 1987 - Trailing 14-3 at the half, Georgia rallied past Kentucky, 17-14, behind Lars Tate's five-yard TD jaunt with 1:08 left and Rodney Hampton's 123 yards rushing.

October 24, 1997 - Allison Thornbury scored two goals and Bentley Bickerstaff added another in overtime as the UGA women's soccer team defeated Miss. State, 3-2.
