October 2, 1965 - With No. 7 Michigan leading 7-6 late in the fourth quarter, Preston Ridlehuber found Pat Hodgson for a 10-yard TD as No. 10 Georgia stunned the Wolverines 15-7 in Ann Arbor.

October 2, 1976 - The #6 ranked UGA football team ran all over the #10 ranked Alabama Crimson Tide. The final score was 21-0 in favor of the Dawgs.

October 2, 1982 - QB John Lastinger's 1-yard sneak with 13:27 remaining in the football game, gave the Dawgs the upper hand over Miss. State. The final score was 29-22.
