MEMPHIS, Tenn. --- Sherill Baker equaled her career high with 25 points and Tasha Humphrey added a double-double of 23 points and 11 rebounds to lead the No. 17-ranked Georgia Lady Bulldogs (8-3) to a 97-44 win over Memphis (2-9) at the FedEx Forum on Thursday night.

Five Lady Dogs reached double digits in the scoring column, with Megan Darrah adding 13 and Alexis Kendrick and Janese Hardrick both chipped in 11.

The victory came after a 10-day holiday layoff following Georgia's overtime loss at Temple on Dec. 19.

"For the most part, the intensity and the intent to improve were there in the areas we talked about coming into the game, particularly in rebounding and on the defensive end," Andy Landers said. "I would have liked to have seen a little better play coming off the bench, but overall I'm pleased."

Georgia out-rebounded the Lady Tigers 50-23, its most decisive count on the boards this season. The Lady Dogs held Memphis to just 26.3 percent shooting from the floor, including 21.7 percent in the first half.

The Lady Bulldogs ended any doubt early by scoring the first 16 points of the game. All five starters scored during the first 5:28 of the game before Memphis finally knocked down a three from Paris Leonard.

The onslaught continued as Georgia's reached 21 points at the 9:16 mark of the first half and eventually topped out at 30 at 43-13 with 3:50 left in the half.

The Lady Bulldogs' edge bulged to 39 points less than five minutes into the second half. The final score was Georgia's largest lead of the game.
