LOS ANGELES, Calif. --- Less than 24 hours after suffering their second loss in four games this season, the Georgia Lady Bulldogs return to action against host Loyola Marymount in the consolation game of the LMU/Ayres Hotel Classic on Saturday afternoon. Last night, UCLA utilized a 17-5 run over the final 5:51 of the first half to build a 16-point lead at the break and then scored the first six points of the second stanza en route to an 84-64 victory over the Lady Dogs. "There's no single thing that's most disappointing but there are certainly a lot of things that were disappointing," head coach Andy Landers said after the setback. "First of all we didn't 'bring it' tonight, and then we didn't respond to anything. Our basketball team simply did not respond to the challenge. "From there, you can go to the box score and things are obvious," Landers continued. "Our guards were 15-of-44 from the field with many reasonably good shots. We only got to the line eight times while we put them there 23 times. We had 19 turnovers and 14 of those were from our senior guards (Sherill Baker and Alexis Kendrick). We had a starter (Cori Chambers) foul out in 15 minutes. All the fouls were due to the fact that we were standing around or out of position on defense."
