SEC-TV, FSN South's live, weekly, Southeastern Conference program continues on Thursday, 9/2 at 6:30 p.m. EDT (re-airs Friday, 9/3 at 12:30 a.m.). The half-hour magazine program originates from FSN South's Atlanta studio, with Dave Neal hosting.
Preseason hype blanketed Auburn last year, but in 2004, the five-time SEC champion Tigers seem to be prowling under the radar. Dave Baker spends time with coach Tommy Tuberville to find out how his squad is mentally preparing to roar back from a disappointing '03 season (8-5 overall; 5-3 in the SEC). Tuberville has proved to be a capable coach (3 SEC West titles), but the Tigers have not won an SEC championship in his five years as head coach (Tuberville is 38-24 at AU). Auburn fans are getting restless and are eager to get back to the winning ways of the Pat Dye era (4 SEC titles in 7 years). Is Tuberville feeling the heat? Baker finds out and learns how the coach and his family get relief from the summer heat at their lake house.
