UGA Alumni Association Continues the First Friday Tradition

ATHENS, Ga. -- The University of Georgia Alumni Association will host "First Friday," its third annual pep rally to fire up the UGA football team and Bulldog fans on Friday, September 3, the evening before the first home game (Georgia vs. Georgia Southern).
Thousands of UGA students, alumni, faculty and fans attended last year's rally. More are expected to pack Stegeman Coliseum this year.
"First Friday" will be held at Stegeman Coliseum on September 3, 2004, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Doors will open at 5 p.m. and fans are encouraged to come early and register for prizes including a Georgia/Florida hotel and football ticket package for two! Coach Richt and the UGA football team will be there, along with UGA Athletic Director Damon Evans, Uga VI, Hairy Dawg, the Georgia Cheerleaders, the Derbies, Flagline, Feature Twirlers and the Majorettes!
