ATHENS----Freshman right fielder Joey Side went 4-for-4 with a grand slam and seven RBI to lead the Bulldogs to a 15-5 win over Liberty Saturday at Foley Field.

With the game tied at 3-3 going to the bottom of the sixth, Georgia (9-2) erupted for five runs on five hits off Flames starter Jason Jones. Junior catcher Clint Sammons (3-for-3) put Georgia in front for good with a bloop single over the outstretched glove of second baseman Michael Just. Two batters latter, left fielder Bobby Felmy made it 6-3 with a two-run single. Later in the inning, Kyle Keen and Jason Jacobs (2-for-4) also drove in runs for an 8-3 advantage.
