NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) - Sherill Baker scored 24 points, and No. 16 Georgia had big runs late in the first half and early in the second of an 83-67 victory Thursday night over Vanderbilt.

The Lady Bulldogs used a 15-5 run to take a 32-23 lead, capped by two free throws from Alexis Kendrick. Vanderbilt responded with seven straight points, the last coming on Abi Ramsey's 3-pointer with 2:12 remaining, but didn't score again in the period and trailed 36-30 at the break.
