Georgia completes its regular-season slate this week with a trip to Gainesville, Fla., to face Florida on Thursday before returning to Athens to host Kentucky on Sunday afternoon.

Georgia owns 33-9 edge in its series with Florida, including a 15-5 mark in Gainesville. UGA's tally of 33 wins over Florida is the most victories the Lady Dogs possess over any opponent.

The Gators and Lady Dogs met earlier this season (Jan. 18) in Athens. Georgia raced to a 25-16 lead with 8:59 left in the half, but a 17-4 Florida spurt to end the half gave the Gators a 36-34 lead at the intermission. The Lady Bulldogs led twice early in the second stanza but a pair of 9-0 Florida runs sparked the Gators to victory.

In their most recent trip to Gainesville on Jan. 12 of last season, the Lady Dogs opened their SEC schedule with a 105-62 win over Florida. A 54-point first half -- Georgia's most productive period of the entire season -- led to a season-high scoring output as well. That victory was the most decisive decision in 40 meetings between the interstate rivals. Georgia is 24-8 record all-time against Kentucky, including an 11-2 record in matchups in Athens.
