Q: What do you think of the possibility of scheduling a series with a perennial powerhouse like a Florida State, Texas, Rice, Miami or someone like that down the road? Also, will the games be broadcast on the internet again?
Jon Wilson
Lilburn, Ga.

A: "We've been working on adding another big series at home or do a home and home with teams like Texas, Oklahoma or Stetson. We want to strengthen our home schedule but at the same time we realize that we already have a tough one each year. Our games will be on georgiadogs.com this season again."

Q: My son Will has been to your camp the last two years and had a great idea during the last camp. Why not paint the "G" in the middle of the centerfield like it is at the 50 yard line at Sanford Stadium and at center court at Stegeman?
Ron Cox
Athens, Ga.

A: "We've talked about that before because it is a good idea and looks good at some of our other facilities however we haven't decided if we're going to do it at Foley Field."

Q: What advice would you give a sophomore in high school who has a dream to play college baseball?
Willie Patti
Horizon City

A: "Listen to your coaches, teachers and parents. You have to practice and study hard and play the game with a passion. You should strive to excel in the classroom and on the diamond."

Q: What is the status of Sean Ruthven for the coming season?
Jason Hutton
Hobe Sound

A: "Sean is recovering from off-season shoulder surgery. He has continued to rehab and threw an inning in our scrimmage Saturday. He is one of our most talented pitchers and he'll be back when he's healthy."
