NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Matt Freije and Dawid Przbyszewski each scored 13 points as Vanderbilt held Georgia without a field goal over a 14-minute stretch in a 61-39 victory Wednesday night.
Julian Terrell added 10 points as Vanderbilt (15-5, 4-5 Southeastern Conference) went 19-of-20 from the free throw line, building a 61-34 lead in the second half after a layup by Corey Smith with three minutes left to play.
Georgia (11-10, 3-7) remained in the SEC Eastern Division cellar. The Bulldogs failed to hit a field goal after Levi Stukes' 3-pointer with 6:29 remaining in the first half, and missed 13 consecutive shots until Steve Newman's layup with 12:02 left in the second. Stukes' shot was the only field goal during an 18-minute span straddling halftime.
