ATHENS, Ga. -- Freshman Alex Evans dropped a three-pointer from the corner with no time left on the clock on a feed from junior Jay McAuley to push Georgia to 100 points in a 100-69 victory over Savannah State on Tuesday night in front of 5,158 fans at Stegeman Coliseum.
The three-pointer gave Evans nine points on the night, while five other Bulldogs finished in double figures.
Georgia (6-3) also totaled 16 assists in its fifth straight win.
"This was by far our best game in terms of making the best plays and turning down good shots for great shots," Georgia head coach Dennis Felton said. "That should allow our players to catch the fever of making the extra pass. I was tickled to death to see us move the ball the way we did."
