Georgia Volleyball Hosts Georgia Southern Wednesday Night

ATHENS, Ga. ---- The Georgia volleyball team steps outside of conference play on Wednesday night to host Georgia Southern at 7 p.m. at the UGA Ramsey Center.

This contest was a late addition to the schedule after the Bulldogs had a match cancelled in Orlando during hurricane season.

Georgia (14-7, 7-5, SEC) owns a 7-0 lead in the all-time series with its neighbors to the south, but last year's contest in Athens went to five games. This year the Eagles enter at 15-8 overall and 10-3 in the Southern Conference.

Earlier this year Georgia played four-game matches with SoCon members College of Charleston and Elon. The Bulldogs have also won each of their last six non-conference games.
