Pollack Named Finalist for Hendricks Award

ATHENS, Ga. -- Georgia defensive end David Pollack has been named one of the the six finalists for the 2004 Ted Hendricks Award.
Pollack, who set Georgia's career mark for sacks earlier this season, won the award in 2003.
Pollack, a 6-3, 275-pound senior from Snellville, has 37 tackles this season, including team-high figures of 10.5 tackles for loss and 7.5 sacks. He also has caused two fumbles, recovered a fumble and blocked a punt.
Final balloting for the Hendricks Award will be conducted in December.
