Detroit Lions Introduce Former UGA Linebacker Boss Bailey

Allen Park, Mich.-Detroit Lions 2003 second-round draft choice LB Boss Bailey was introduced by President and CEO Matt Millen and Head Coach Steve Mariucci in a press conference today at the Lions Headquarters and Training Facility in Allen Park. Bailey spoke to the media about making the adjustment to the NFL and playing strong-side linebacker for the Detroit Lions.
The following is the transcript from Bailey's meeting with the media:
PRESIDENT & CEO MATT MILLEN
Introduction: "With our second round pick, we sat there and looked at how the board was falling. Boss Bailey was sitting there. He does a couple of things: he fills a need, he gives you speed and he makes you better - and he comes really cheap, that was the best part. We're really excited about it. It didn't take any debate. It was something where I looked at Steve and he looked at me and you give it a nod and away you go."
