ATHENS -- Georgia basketball players past and present -- Mike Patrick, Ryan Pevey, Brian Watts, Richard Wehunt and Rashad Wright -- were included on the 2002-03 Southeastern Conference Academic Honor Roll, released by the league office in Birmingham.

Georgia's fivesome represented the largest contingent of any SEC school on the men's basketball Honor Roll.

The Honor Roll selections are based on performance during the 2001-02 academic calendar. Patrick, from Peachtree City, was a 3-year letterman for the Bulldogs (2000-02) and also a 3-time appointee to the SEC Honor Roll. Pevey lettered two years for Georgia (2001-02) after transferring from Bryan College in Tennessee. Watts, from Roswell, was a freshman walk-on for Georgia in the 2002 season.

Wehunt and Wright were the only Georgia selections that played for the Bulldogs in the 2002-03 season.
