ATHENS---Sophomore Justin Hoyman tossed a complete game six-hitter to lead Florida to a 4-3 win over Georgia Saturday in front of 1,892 at Foley Field.

Hoyman (6-3) allowed three runs but only one was earned in going the distance for his fourth complete game this year. He walked three and struck out seven to give the Gators (27-12-1, 7-9-1 SEC) their first road win of the season. The Bulldogs fall to 19-19 overall, 4-13 in the SEC.

Georgia took a 1-0 lead in the first on a sacrifice fly by Lee Mitchell. Florida responded in the top of the second, getting a two-run double by designated hitter Lee Roberson off Georgia starter Brandon Moorhead. The Bulldogs tied it up in their half of the frame on a run-scoring single by Josh Smith, scoring Marshall Szabo who led off with a base hit and took second on a wild pitch by Hoyman. The Bulldogs were aided by a couple of Gator errors in the third to take a 3-2 advantage that lasted until the sixth.
