Southern Equestrian Championship Next Saturday

The Southern Equestrian Championship will be held at the Animal Science Arena on S. Milledge Ave. on Saturday April 26th. There will be a pre-competition ceremony that will begin at 8:30am with an introduction of the 6 participating SEC schools, the presentation of colors, national anthem, and a special recognition of Georgia's senior riders. The competition will feature a brand new NCAA Equestrian format and demonstrations of the new disciplines that will be implemented in the coming years.
Admission is free, and there will be fun activites for the kids throughout the day, including a mock jump course, balloon animals and face painting with Mr. Clown, polaroid pictures with a miniature pony, and a new game called "Hairy Dawg's Horseshoes." The first 500 fans will receive a sharp looking Georgia Equestrian Mouse Pad, and competition t-shirts will be thrown out into the crowd throughout the day. This will be the Dawgs last home competition of the year, and they would appreciate your support on April 26th.
