Next Up: Georgia Hosts Georgia State For Doubleheader
Georgia will take a break from conference play this week as the Bulldogs will welcome the Georgia State Panthers to town for a double header on Thursday. Georgia is 2-2 all-time agaisnt Georgia State, including 1-0 last season when the two teams faced off in the Georgia State Tournament.
The Panthers are 13-20 this season, including a win over Georgia Tech earlier this season. As fas as teams that Georgia and Georgia State have both played, the Panthers lost 5-0 to Texas A&M, lost 4-3 to Florida State in eight innings, and lost 8-6 to Florida A&M. The Bulldogs are 3-1 against these three teams, going 1-1 against Texas A&M and defeated both Florida State and Florida A&M.

Panthers Are Familiar Team To Georgia's Yolanda McRae
The doubleheader against Georgia State will be a reunion of sorts for Georgia's junior outfielder Yolanda McRae. McRae transferred this season to the Bulldogs after spending the previous two seasons playing for the Panthers.
