Lady Dogs To Stuff Stegeman Versus Florida

Athens, Ga. --- Georgia's Lady Bulldogs, who are ranked No. 14 in this week's Associated Press poll, will host their first-ever "Stuff Stegeman" promotion for this Saturday's regular-season finale against Florida at 2:00 p.m. Saturday's game also will serve as "Senior Day" with Mary Beth Lycett, the Lady Dogs' lone senior, honored prior to tip-off.
"Stuffing Stegeman would be a great way to end the regular season for a basketball team that has played super in the Southeastern Conference,"Georgia head coach Andy Landers said. "We're undefeated at home this season and getting through the year with a 12-0 record at Stegeman would be a major accomplishment. The other factor in the equation is that we're playing Florida -- a great rival of Georgia in any sport. I'm sure the atmosphere on Saturday will be terrific."
Coupons for buy-one-get-one-free general admission tickets to the game have been distributed to students at various local elementary schools and also are available at all four Athens-area Chick-Fil-A locations.
