No. 12 Lady Bulldogs Roll Over Eastern Kentucky, 92-60

RICHMOND, Ky. (AP) - Cori Chambers scored 17 points to lead six players in double figures as No. 12 Georgia beat Eastern Kentucky 92-60 in the final round of the Comfort Suites Classic.

The Lady Bulldogs (10-2) shot 51 percent from the field and forced 20 turnovers in their third straight win.

Chambers connected on three of Georgia's eight 3-pointers and finished 7-for-10 from the field. Christi Thomas followed Chambers with 15 points and 15 rebounds as Georgia held a 50-33 rebounding edge.

Kara Braxton had 14 points, Janese Hardrick tallied 12, Jessica Pierce finished with 11 points and Sherill Baker rounded out Georgia's double-digit scorers with 10 points.

The game featured two lead changes and four ties in the first half until Georgia went on a 21-4 run to take a 35-18 lead with six minutes left.

Eastern Kentucky (4-6) pulled to within 13 with 2:47 left in the first half, but got no closer the rest of the game.

Katie Kelly led the Lady Colonels with 18 points, while Laura Shelton had four 3-pointers and finished with 12.
