Lady Bulldogs Face Georgia Tech Looking to Avenge Loss

The scope of women's college hoops in Georgia changed dramatically 365 days ago. That afternoon, Georgia Tech rallied from a 14-point second-half deficit to defeat Georgia, 65-61. The outcome was significant on several fronts.

The victory signified the Jackets' first win over the Lady Bulldogs in 25 tries (UGA won the first 24 meetings by an average of better than 26 points per game). The loss also ended Georgia's two decade-long, 54-game winning streak over other in-state schools.
