SOUTHERN SPORTS REPORT: GAME ON! TACKLES SEC FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP - The 2003 Southeastern Conference Football Championship Game in Atlanta takes center stage as Fox Sports Net's SOUTHERN SPORTS REPORT EARLY EDITION airs a special show - Game On! - on Tuesday, 12/2 at 6:30 p.m. (repeats at 10 p.m.). The live, half-hour show originates from FSN's Atlanta studio and chronicles the "Road to Atlanta" for Georgia and LSU.
SSR anchor Terry Chick hosts Game On!, with reporters Laura Okmin (covering Georgia) and Jenn Hildreth (covering LSU) checking in from the respective camps.
The show previews the 12th SEC Championship Game (Saturday, 12/6) and recounts its rich history; delivers an in-depth accounting of how the two representatives earned the right to square off in Atlanta; provides reports from both campuses; and lends analysis heading into the pivotal game.
For the Atlanta TV market only, Fox Sports Net will be airing at noon on Saturday (12/6), JP Sports' SEC SUPER SATURDAY program (one-hour show) -- live from "SEC FanFare" at the GWCC. This show is hosted by Dave Neal, with Dave Rowe and Dave "Buzz" Baker providing analysis.
Game On! also re-airs on FSN - Thursday, 12/4 at 1:30 p.m.; Friday, 12/5 at 12:30 and 7 p.m.; and Saturday, 12/6 at 12:30 p.m. (this final re-air not available in the Atlanta TV market).
Additionally, FSN's SOUTHERN SPORTS REPORT (10 p.m.) has a heavy SEC Championship Game flavor, with nightly perspective from both divisional titleists.
