Q: Prior to the "Dog Walk" is there any team tradition? Example: rituals, pre-game meals, prayer, etc.
Jim Beatty
Birmingham
A: "We have a normal routine we follow for each game but one thing we do during pre-game warmups or "flex" as we call it is the "flip drill." It's right after we do our ankle stretch. All the players will be flipping over and back. It's something we did at Florida State and I didn't really think about doing it here but some of the players asked me about it and if we were going to do it and I said sure. Also, at the end of flex, they will all run up to me and I'll say a few things and we'll have a big break. Those are a couple of interesting things to watch for during flex."
Q: What were some of the things that attracted you to the University of Georgia?
David Oxford
Dalton
A: "I've said it many times, when I first took my first head coaching job I wanted it to be a place my family and I could be happy for a long time. This has been an overwhelming experience these first few years. There's no place I'd rather be. We want to be here as long as Georgia will have us."
