Q: What's been the biggest hurdle of the season so far?
Brian Perry
Florence, AL
A: "I think the most difficult thing has been getting our young players to perform on a consistent basis. That's always an issue with first year players or players getting experience for the first time. They will make a great play, then one not so great. Consistency is the thing we need the most from the younger players."
Q: Hi, I would like to know if there is any chance at being a student coach without having played college football. I have heard this is very uncommon. If it's not possible are there other ways for aspiring coachs to learn from great coach's such as yourself.
Bobby Howard
Snellville, GA
A: "It is not very common to come in as a student assistant coach or graduate assistant without having played the game. However, I know there are some coaches out there who have done it, though, on both the college and high school level. If you have your heart set on it, I would suggest that there are some high school programs out there that might be looking for help."
