Tampa, Fla. --- Georgia's Lady Bulldogs, a consensus pre-season top-10 pick nationally, dropped out of both top-25 polls this week after falling to 6-4 on the season. It appears as if they've taken their shortcomings to heart.
Georgia cruised to its second consecutive decisive victory on Thursday night, easily dispatching South Florida, 91-44. Less than a week ago, USF played defending national champion Connecticut to within 16 points, though the Huskies played that game without All-American Diana Taurasi.
Sophomore Kara Braxton poured in 29 points, one shy of her career high, to pace four Lady Bulldogs in double figures. Alexis Kendrick added 20 points, while Christi Thomas and Sherill Baker chipped in 15 and 10, respectively. Katie Frye hauled in a career-high 12 rebounds for Georgia.
