UGA TE Ben Watson To Enter NFL Draft

ATHENS--------- University of Georgia junior tight end Ben Watson of Rock Hill, S.C., has decided to enter the April NFL draft and forego his final season of eligibility.

Watson was the team's third leading receiver this year with 31 receptions for 341 yards and three touchdowns.

Watson transferred to Georgia in 2000 after playing in 11 games as a freshman at Duke. He was redshirted in 2000 and played for the Bulldogs in 2001 and '02.

Watson is the fourth underclassman to give up his final year at UGA. Previously announcing their early exit to the NFL were DT Johnathan Sullivan, TB Musa Smith, and LB Chris Clemons.
