Three Game Sweep Complete

Athens, Ga.---Nichole Urban pitched a complete-game two-hitter and Kristen Bell went 2-for-3 with two doubles as the No. 23-ranked Georgia softball team wrapped up a three-game sweep of Arkansas on Sunday, 3-1.

The Bulldogs (42-8, 10-8) jumped on the board early in the first inning when Nicole Barber singled, stole second base, moved to third on a Katie Lewis sacrifice and scored when Kim Wendland reached base on an infield error.

Michelle Green led off the Georgia second inning with a walk and was replaced by pinch runner Pam Stewart. Stewart stole second, moved to third on the same play thanks to a Razorback throwing error and scored on Bell's first of two doubles. The Dogs' third and final run came in the fourth on a Michelle Tyree one-run single that scored Bell.
