Kentucky Preview

Georgia and Kentucky meet for the first time since opening up the 2002 campaign together at the Fun and Sun Classic in Miami earlier this year. The two clubs met twice on the Florida International campus with Georgia taking both games, 9-2 and 4-3 in eight innings.

The Bulldogs own an 13-7 advantage in the all-time series.

Nichole Urban and Rachael Hawkins each saw time on the mound for Georgia in both games and both earned a win.

Michelle Tyree went 3-for-4 with two runs and two RBI in the game-one victory and Kim Wendland, Julie Milner and Shannon McKeon had two-hit games. In the second meeting, Nicole Barber was 3-for-5 and Milner added a 3-for-4 performance.
