SEC Championship Game to be Televised Live at Stegeman Coliseum

ATHENS, Ga. -- The SEC Championship Game pitting Georgia against Arkansas will be televised live at Stegeman Coliseum on Saturday. The doors will open at 5:30 p.m., with kickoff slated for just after 6 p.m.

Admission is free, but fans are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy for the UGA Athletic Association's "Toys for Tots" campaign. The concession stands will be open.

The idea for the event came from Becca Hubbard, a graduate student in sports management at UGA. The event is designed to be family-oriented and alcohol-free, so that fans who can't make it to the Georgia Dome can congregate and cheer on the Bulldogs.
