Georgia Women's Tennis Team Signs Natalie Frazier

ATHENS ---- University of Georgia women's tennis coach Jeff Wallace announced today the signing of Natalie Frazier to a national letter-of-intent.
Currently, Frazier is ranked 18th in the USTA Girls 18-year-old singles division. In 2001, she finished the season ranked sixth in the USTA Girls 16s. An Honor Roll student at Marist High School, she is a native of Riverdale and the daughter of Verna Stoner-Frazier.
Frazier is ranked number one in the USTA Southern Section and is a former state player of the year and student-athlete the year. She earned USTA Sportsmanship Awards at the Super National Clay Court Championships and the Super National Hard Court Championships. She reached the quarterfinals in doubles at both of these tournaments. In singles during 2001 in the 16s, she went 23-5 including winning the Gator Bowl and Peach State events. This year, a singles highlight includes being a finalist at the USTA Southern Section Closed Championships.
"We're thrilled that Natalie will be joining the Georgia program and glad she decided to become a Bulldog," said Wallace. "She is one of the top recruits in the country, and we know she will be an outstanding student-athlete in her Georgia career.
