Knoxville, Tenn.----Georgia dropped a 3-2 (30-25, 20-30, 30-25, 21-30, 15-11) decision on Sunday at Tennessee in the Dogs, sixth five-game match of the season.

The Bulldogs (12-7 overall, 2-2 SEC) are 3-3 in five-game matches this year and have now played to five games in three of the last six meetings with the Lady Vols (11-5, 1-3).

Julia Petruschke was Georgia,s leader on offense with 28 kills and a ..368 hitting percentage. Margot Wallace finished with 63 assists and Luresa Forsythe led the Bulldogs with 14 digs. Alexandra Oquendo added 13 kills, one solo block and five block assists.

Tennessee was paced by Janelle Hester,s 26 kills.

Georgia returns to action on Friday night with a 7 p.m. meeting against Ole Miss. On Sunday, Mississippi State comes to Athens for a 1 p.m. matchup.
