ATHENS - Last Saturday's Georgia-Houston football game, postponed due to the tragic events of last Tuesday, has been rescheduled for Saturday, Dec. 1, at 1 p.m. in Sanford Stadium.

The path was cleared Monday for all SEC postponed games when the SEC Championship game was officially moved from Dec. 1 to Dec. 8.

"All of college football is still grieving over the events of last week," said UGA Athletic Director Vince Dooley. "But I'm pleased we have been able to reschedule the game with Houston at the end of the regular season. It is a good intersectional game and we are appreciative of the people at Houston, including interim athletic director Larry Leckonby and their president, Dr. Arthur Smith, for working with us to make this possible."
