Lady Dogs Dominate Georgia Southern, 73-54

Statesboro, Ga. --- The No. 11-ranked Georgia Lady Bulldogs rolled to a 73-54 win over Georgia Southern here on Tuesday night to improve to 6-0 on the season. It was Georgia's performance on the boards that highlighted the evening, however. Freshman Kara Braxton scored a team-high 18 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to post the first double-double of her career. Braxton led the Lady Dogs' dominant 66-44 advantage on the glass. Christi Thomas added 11 rebounds and Tawana McDonald hauled in 10. Whitney Law scored 12 points and Ebony Felder chipped in 11 for Georgia. The Lady Dogs also rejected 13 shots to up their amazing season total to 66 in just six games.
