HONOLULU ----- Rashad Wright scored eight of Georgia's last 10 points to help fend off a late threat by Arkansas State, as the Bulldogs advanced into the winner's bracket of the Rainbow Classic with an 80-68 win over the Indians here late Thursday night.
Georgia will now face Miami of Ohio, which upset 10th-ranked Boston College 73-67 in the first round. The game will tip off at 10:00 p.m. (EST).
The Bulldogs had built a lead as large as 15 points in the second half when reserve guard Tony Cole's layup with 6:15 left put the Dogs ahead 69-54.
Over the next four minutes, however, Arkansas State outscored Georgia 11-1. The Indians got within four points at 70-66 when Nick Rivers stole an errant pass and fed Tony Brown for a layup with 2:37 left.
