ATHENS, Ga. --- The Georgia men's tennis team won all three of its singles matches and dropped its three doubles matches on the second day of the Bulldog Scramble at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex in Athens. Georgia will play two singles matches against Kentucky at noon on Sunday.

Due to a limited roster, Georgia and Kentucky combined to fill the singles and doubles slots against Mississippi State in the morning. The Bulldogs played only one doubles match against Florida in the afternoon.

Brandon Wagner continued to play exceptional, as the junior topped Mississippi State's Max Fomine 6-3, 6-3, in the morning.

Nicolas Boeker split sets with Ren-Charles Combette, and Boeker was up 2-0 in the third when Combette was forced to retire.

Ion Vlad kept his win streak alive as he defeated Matt Armstrong in straight sets, 6-4, 7-5.

In the doubles match against Florida, Boeker and Vlad teamed up to take on Olivier Levant and Chris McDonald. The Gator pair went up a break to lead 3-2, but the Bulldogs got a break of their own to get back on serve at 4-3. With the score knotted at 6-6, Florida broke to take a 7-6 and a chance to serve for the match. The Gators held serve to win 8-6.
