Sean Stevenson joined the Georgia Sports Communications staff in October 2017. He serves as the primary contact for Bulldogs volleyball and softball.
Since his arrival in Athens, Stevenson has run media and social media efforts for teams that have advanced to two Women's College World Series (2018, 2021), hosted three NCAA Softball Regional tournaments, and three teams that have appeared in the NCAA Volleyball Tournament.Â

Prior to his arrival in Athens, Stevenson spent six years in the Sports Information office at Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. During his time at SEMO, Stevenson covered nine different programs for the Redhawks over his six-year span. During his tenure at Southeast, he assisted in advising the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).

In January 2015, he was selected as one of 200 young professionals across the nation to attend the NCAA Emerging Leaders Seminar at NCAA headquarters in Indianapolis, Indiana.Â

A St. Louis, Missouri native, Stevenson earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management from Southeast Missouri in May of 2013.

This isn't his first stint in Georgia as Stevenson spent the summer of 2012Â interning for the Augusta GreenJackets.Â
