Rebekah Parker serves as the Director of Football Compliance at the University of Georgia. In this role, she is the primary compliance liaison to the football and women’s basketball teams and assists with the University of Georgia’s name, image, and likeness efforts from a compliance perspective.
Parker previously served as an Assistant Director of Compliance & Legal Services at the University of South Carolina. Her primary responsibilities included providing interpretive assistance to coaches, administrators, and student-athletes, developing and implementing rules education, monitoring bylaws 11, 12, 13, and 17, and assisting with athletics department contracts, waivers and leases. She also served as the compliance liaison for the following teams: equestrian, swimming and diving, men’s & women’s golf, beach volleyball, and volleyball. Prior to being named an Assistant Direct of Compliance & Legal Services, Parker served as the Compliance Coordinator at the University of South Carolina.
Parker is originally from Atlanta, GA. She earned her bachelor’s degree at the University of South Carolina in 2012 and later received her juris doctorate from the University of Georgia School of Law in 2017.
