Madi Whitmire assumed the role of Assistant Director of Football Nutrition in March 2025.
Whitmire assists the director with fueling the team’s student-athletes and is involved with their nutrition decisions in order to enhance performances.
Prior to her current position, Whitmire worked with Georgia’s Olympic sports (volleyball, track & field, equestrian, cheer, dance) as a Dietitian Fellow from July 2024 through her start time with football.
Whitmire graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2023 where she received her Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Sciences. She was also a setter for UConn’s volleyball team from 2019 to 2023.
Whitmire was born and raised in Hollister, Calif. She is currently earning her Master’s degree in Nutrition at UGA.
