Leigh Futch is now the Director of Student Development, as of 2015. Previously she was named Compliance Coordinator for the UGA Athletic Association in July 2012 and was promoted to Director of Compliance in 2013.

Futch, who in 2005 earned a bachelor's degree in Broadcast News from UGA's Grady College of Journalism, served as an assistant to the football team's video coordinator throughout her undergraduate career.

She went on to Florida Coastal School of Law, where she completed her Juris Doctorate in 2008, concentrating in the area of Sports & Entertainment law. Futch also spent the summer of 2007 interning for the UGA Compliance Department. After a brief stint with the Atlanta law firm King & Spalding, she worked as a partner in the legal department of Longleaf Development Company in Lake Park, Ga., until January 2011.

Most recently, Futch served as Director of Web Marketing Services for Nexxtep Technology in Valdosta, Ga., before returning to her alma mater.
