Katie Honeycutt, a University of Georgia alumna and former Lady Bulldog student assistant, is in her fourth season as the director of recruiting operations and player development. Honeycutt began her career working under Coach Andy Landers as a student assistant and then as an intern, assisting with recruiting and summer camps from August, 2011 until April, 2012. She now has a hand in nearly every facet of the program, including Fast Break Club events and Joni Taylor's Beyond Basketball group. After earning her bachelor's degree in recreation and leisure studies from UGA in 2012, Honeycutt went on to hold several different positions at a variety of companies. She was a summer camp director at the YMCA, was a recruiting assistant for Northeast Georgia Health System and was most recently a compensation specialist for the Northeast Georgia Health System. Honeycutt was the president of the Recreation and Leisure Studies Student Association during her time as a student. She is married to Cody Honeycutt and the couple has two daughters, Blakely (2) and Saylor (born July 12, 2019). |
