Chambless, formerly Kate Fuller, played for the Bulldogs for four seasons (2011-2014), where she was a four-time letter winner, four-time Southeastern Conference Community Service Team honoree and a four-time SEC Academic Honor Roll honoree.

On the court, Chambless finished her Georgia career as the all-time leader in career doubles victories (125) and single-season doubles victories (40 - 2013), second all-time in single-season combined victories (75 - 2013) and tied for fifth in all-time career combined victories (222).

A two-time ITA Doubles All-American, Chambless played a key role in the Bulldogs’ 2013 SEC regular season championship and 2014 SEC Tournament championship campaigns where she earned SEC All-Tournament Team honors in 2013.

She also earned back-to-back ITA Arthur Ashe Award honors in 2013 and 2014 while also winning the 2012 ITA Southeast Regional Doubles Championship alongside her partner Lauren Herring. Chambless was also ranked as high as No. 1 in the ITA doubles rankings with partner Silvia Garcia.

After her playing career with the Bulldogs, Chambless also served as a teaching professional & mentor at the Beck Tennis Academy, a local family-owned high performance tennis academy where she provided private and group instruction to children and adults of all skill levels. She also mentored competitive junior players with aspirations to play at the collegiate and/or professional level.
