Ian Horvat has served as the Associate Director Academic Counseling / APR & Eligibility Coordinator since 2020.
Horvat joined the Georgia Athletic Association in 2014 as an Assistant Academic Counselor. He then worked as an Academic Counselor for Southern Methodist University from 2015-2016. Horvat returned to Georgia as an Academic Counselor for Football and Volleyball from 2016-2019 and then as an Assistant Director Academic Counseling / APR & Eligibility Coordinator from 2019-2020. He was named to the staff leadership academy for 2022-23.
Horvat earned a B.S.H.P from UGA in 2010 and a M.P.H. in 2012. A native of Athens, he lives with his wife Anna Horvat (Ramminger), their two children Adaline & Anthony and two dogs Sanford & Nelson.
