Hailey Beard

- Assistant Sports Communications Director (Women’s Basketball, Track and Field/XC)
Hailey Beard was hired as an Assistant Director of Sports Communications in the summer of 2026. In the role, Beard serves as the Sports Information Director for the women's basketball program and the men's and women's track & field/cross country programs. Her day-to-day responsibilities include leading creative strategy for the team on social media, coordinating media availabilties, managing statisics and records, and functionong as the liaison between the program, television networks and the conference.
Beard previously served as a Graduate Assistant in the Georgia Sports Communications office from August 2025 - May 2026. In this role, she assisted in communications efforts for the women's basketball and track & field/cross country programs.
Beard graduated from the University of Mississippi with Bachelor of Arts in Integrated Marketing Communications with an emphasis in Sports Promotion. She also served as a student intern in the Ole Miss Sports Communications office during undergrad, serving as the secondary contact for track & field and cross country. She is orginally from Caledonia, Mississippi.
