Beth Dziedzic was named Associate Athletic Director for Academics July 1, 2021, after serving as Director of Academic Support at UGA from July 2019-June 2021. She had previously served as an Academic Counselor in Athletics at UGA from 2010-2019. In her role with the Bulldogs, Dziedzic’s responsibilities include day-to-day administrative oversight of the eighteen-person student-athlete academic services team, including academic counselors and learning specialists. She also serves as a member of the UGAAA Staff Diversity & Inclusion Council.
Prior to her arrival in Athens, Dziedzic spent two years (2008-2010) at Collegiate Consulting (previously NACDA Consulting), where she served as Client Services Coordinator. In that role, she conducted research and wrote benchmarking and feasibility studies. While enrolled in graduate school, Dziedzic worked for the Atlanta Braves as part of their Ticket Event Team, and also volunteered as a student assistant in the UGAAA Promotions Department.

A native of Marietta, Georgia, Dziedzic was a member of the women’s soccer team at UGA from 2003-2007, earning SEC Academic Honor Roll recognition 2004-2007. She graduated from UGA in 2007 with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, and completed her Master’s degree at UGA in Sport Management in 2008.
She and her wife, Emily, have one son, James, born in February 2020.
