2022-23 Season Highlights

• Competed in 11 tournaments and ranked second on the team in average (72.72), par-or-better rounds (16), counting percentage (.900) and top-20s (seven).
• The Bulldogs’ top finisher at the Cougar Classic, where her 5-under 208 tally tied for eighth on the individual leaderboard.
• Shot 3-under 213 to help Georgia produce a school-record 20-under team score at the Illini Invitational.
• Posted par-or-better efforts in seven of 12 fall rounds, including a trio of scores in the 60s.
• A top-20 individual finisher in six of seven spring events.
• Began the spring with her first collegiate win, shooting back-to-back 71s to finish at 2-under in the one-day, 36-hole Lady Bulldog Individual Championship.
• Narrowly missed a second victory when she finished a stroke off the pace of teammate Caterina Don at the San Diego State Classic.
• Broke from the college season to shoot 1-over 217 and finish tied for 18th at the Women’s Amatuer Asia-Pacific at Singapore Island Country Club.

2021-22 Season Highlights
• Participated in 12 tournaments during the season, earning a spot in the lineup for 10 of 11 team events and competing individually at the Mason Rudolph Championship and the Lady Bulldog Invitational.
• Compiled a 73.31 stroke average over 36 rounds and produced a team-high 16 par-or-better tallies.
• Her 16 par-or-better rounds represented the third most in school history, trailing only 22 by Marta Silva Zamora in 2011 and Bailey Tardy in 2016 and 18 by Jillian Hollis in 2018.
• Was Georgia’s top individual finisher at three tournaments – the Mason Rudolph Championship, the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate and the SEC Championships.
• Wrapped up the Mason Rudolph with a career-low 6-under 66 in the final round, the low loop of any Bulldog during the 2021-22 season, en route to posting her career-best 54-hole score of 7-under 209.
• All told, posted nine par-or-better scores in 12 fall rounds and covering those loops at a combined 1-under pace.
• All three of her rounds in the 60s came in the final round of tournaments – a 66 at the Mason Rudolph, a 67 at the Clover Cup and a 67 at the SEC Championships.

2020-21 Season Highlights
• Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll, one of nine Bulldogs to earn the accolade during the 2020-21 season.
• One of two Bulldogs – along with Jenny Bae – in the lineup for all 11 events.
• Finished the season third on the team in stroke average (74.64), while compiling Georgia’s second most birdies (89) on the year.
• Listed at No. 76 in the Golfweek/Sagarin Performance Index following the 2020 portion of the schedule.
• Georgia’s top individual finisher at the last two regular-season events – the Liz Murphey and LSU Classic.
• After averaging 75.44 in the fall, trimmed that to a considerably lower 74.33 during the spring (1.11 per round better).
• Posted six of her seven par-or-better efforts during the 2021 calendar portion of the season.
• Earned a 2021 U.S. Women’s Open bid by finishing third a qualifier at Druid Hills Golf Club in Atlanta on May 5.
• Secured her Open spot at a qualifier contested over three days due to consistent and heavy rainfall. Competition began on Monday (May 3) but she completed just two holes before play was suspended and torrential rains flooded the course. On Tuesday, play didn't begin until the afternoon, and Hung finished No. 6 before the competition was halted again. On Wednesday, she was 1-over through 30 holes of the qualifier but rallied to birdie three of her final six holes to surge up the leaderboard.
• One of six Bulldogs to earn eight spots in the fields of the last six U.S. Women’s Opens, joining current teammates Céleste Dao (2018 and 2019) and Caterina Don (2020) as well as former standouts Jillian Hollis (2018), Bailey Tardy (2016 and 2017) and Rinko Mitsunaga (2016).
• Missed the cut at The Olympic Club in San Francisco after shooting rounds of 76 and 80.
• Returned to action following the Open by tying for sixth at the Georgia Women’s Open, which was contested at the UGA Golf Course.
• Shot 2-under 70 in the U.S. Women’s Amateur qualifier at Woodmont Golf and Country Club, tying for the score needed to reach the Am but then falling in a 5-for-1 playoff for that spot.

2019-20 Season Highlights
• Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll, one of eight Bulldogs who received the recognition.
• One of two golfers – along with Caterina Don – to earn a position in Georgia’s playing five for all seven tournaments.
•  Posted a 74.20 average en route to producing counting scores for the Bulldogs at an 80.0 percent pace.
• Produced six par-or-better rounds, second most on the roster.
• Opened the fall with a top-20 performance at the Minnesota Invitational, where she shot 2-over 216 to tie for 17th overall.
• Wrapped up the fall a stroke shy of another top-20 effort at the inaugural White Sands Invitational, where her 2-over 218 tied for 21st.
• Recorded a career-low 54-hole effort of 1-under 215 en route to finishing fourth individually at The Gold Rush.

2018-19 Season Highlights
• Selected to the SEC All-Freshman team in voting of the conference’s coaches.
• Arrived in Athens as a mid-year enrollee in January.
• Debuted as runner-up at the Duel in the Desert and also posted back-to-back top-20s at the Gold Rush (t-13th) and the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate (t-13th).
• Named SEC Freshman of the Week after going 3-0 in match play at the Liz Murphey, including a 4-and-3 win over Arkansas All-American Dylan Kim. Trailed for only one of 50 holes of match play during the LMCC.
• Led Georgia in stroke play at the SEC Championships, tying for 12th at 2-over 218, and then was 2-0 in match play.
• Wrapped up the season with her fifth par-or-better effort in 20 spring rounds, a 1-under 71 in the final round of the NCAA East Lansing Regional.

Pre Collegiate Highlights
• Kept a busy schedule in the three years prior to her arrival at UGA, competing in 54 events and recording seven victories and 26 top-10 finishes.
• Most recently before arriving in Athens competed in four professional tournaments, making the cut in each with a top showing of 24th at the Tainan Professional Golf Ladies Open.
• Recorded top-10 finishes at 11 national level tournaments between 2016-18, including a victory at the 2016 Standard Chartered Bank National Summer Ranking Tournament and a trio of runner-up showings at the 2018 Third Selection Tournament for the Asian Games National squad, the 2017 Standard Chartered Bank National Summer Ranking Tournament and the 2016 Standard Chartered Bank National Winter Ranking Tournament.
• Played in 12 total events in the United States during 2016 and 2017, headlined by a a quartet of victories at the 2016 World Junior Golf Series’ American Junior, the 2016 Aaron Baddeley International Junior, the 2016 AJGA Junior at Centennial and the 2017 Folds of Honor Junior Championship hosted by Bob Estes.
• Additional tournaments in the U.S. included top-10 showings at the 2016 IMG Academy Junior World Championship (fourth), the 2017 Memorial Junior (fifth) and the 2017 ACDS/Ryan Moore Junior at Oakbrook (ninth),.
• Also secured medalist honors at a pair of Faldo Series events in 2017, the Grand Final (a 4-shot victory at the Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting and Golf Club in the United Arab Emirates) and the Asia Grand Final (a 3-shot win at Laguna Lang Co Golf Club in Vietnam).
• Tied for 29th (ironically with former Georgia All-American Harang Lee of Spain) at the 2016 World Amateur Team Championships in Riviera Maya, Mexico. Shot 8-over 296 to lead Taiwan to a 14th-place finish on the team leaderboard.

• Born September 24, 1999, Jo Hua is the daughter of Mei-Hei-Lu and Ching-long-Hung and is majoring in Sport Management.
• Recipient of the Vickie and Leon Farmer Scholarship for 2019-20 and 2020-21 and the Women’s Golf Scholarship Endowment for 2021-22.
