2023-24 Season Highlights:

• Participated in a limited schedule due to injuries, playing in one fall tourney and six spring events.
• Compiled a 74.53 average over 17 rounds, with a pair of par-or-better efforts.
• Fired a 1-over 214 tally in her Georgia debut at the Cougar Classic, her only appearance of the fall season.
• Book-ended the spring regular-season campaign with a pair of top-20 finishes at the UGA Golf Course, tying for 11th at the Lady Bulldog Individual and for 12th at the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic.
• Although playing for Georgia’s “B” team, tied for 12th overall and was the Bulldogs’ second-best finisher in the Liz Murphey.
• Led UGA’s “B” team to a ninth-place showing in the LMCC and wins over four Power conference programs in the process.

San Diego State Career Highlights:
• Competed in 33 events for the Aztecs, compiling a 74.77 average – with 18 par-or-better scores – and posting six top-10 and 12 top-20 individual finishes.
• Qualified for SDSU lineup for every round during her four seasons and contributed counting scores in 93.2 percent of her 91 (team rounds).
• Voted second-team All-Mountain West Conference as a junior during the 2021-22 season.
• Tabbed as the MWC Golfer of the Week on April 14, 2023.
• Named to the Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholar Team in 2021.
• A four-time member of the MWC’s All-Academic Team.

2022-23 Season Highlights:
• Competed in 10 events and led the Aztecs in virtually every statistical category including average (74.03), counting percentage (100.0), top-10s (three), top-20s (five), low 18 (67) and low 54 (211).
• Was SDSU’s top individual finisher in six of 10 tournaments.
• Recorded a pair of top-10 efforts during the fall, finishing fifth at the Hurricane Invitational in Coral Gables, Fla., and tying for 10th at the Ron Moore Intercollegiate in Denver.
• Fired her career-low scores for a single round (5-under 67 in the second round) and tournament (5-under 211) at the Hurricane Invitational.
• Named MWC Golfer of the Week on April 14 after tying for sixth at the Riverside Classic in Provo, Utah.
• Led SDSU at the Mountain West Championships, where she tied for 17th.

2021-22 Season Highlights:
• Tabbed second-team All-MWC in balloting of league coaches.
• Competed in 10 tournaments, nine as a member of the Aztecs’ lineup and additionally as an individual at the NCAA Albuquerque Regional.
• Posted a 74.25 stroke average over 28 rounds while contributing counting scores at a 92.0 percent clip.
• Tied with Sara Kjelker for the team lead with two top-10 and four top-20 individual finishes.
• Recorded a top fall finish of 11th at the Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire Invitational, where she helped the Aztecs to their season-best team effort (fourth).
• SDSU’s top individual finisher at the Mountain West Championships, where she tied for sixth.
• Qualified for an NCAA Regional bid individually and tied for 42nd in Albuquerque.

2020-21 Season Highlights:
• Competed in all seven tournaments in the Aztecs’ pandemic-shortened season which included no fall events.
• Notched a 75.76 average over 21 rounds and contributed counting scores in 96.1 percent of those loops.
• Posted one top-10 and three top-20 efforts and recorded her best finish of the season by tying for third at the Juli Inkster at Meadow Club Invitational.
• Led the Aztecs to a third-place finish at the Inkster Invitational.
• Tied for 12th individually to help SDSU to a runner-up finish at the Mountain West Championships.

2019-20 Season Highlights:
• In SDSU’s lineup for the first six tournaments before the final regular-season event and all postseason play was canceled due to the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
• Finished the season with a 75.50 average that featured a pair of par-or-better tallies.
• Fired a 3-under 69 in the final round of the Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire Invitational, a tally that stood up as her career-low loop until her senior season.
• Posted her best finish of the season, a tie for 24th, at the Golfweek Conference Challenge at Red Sky Golf Club in Wolcott, Colo.

Pre-Collegiate Highlights:
• Enjoyed a stellar junior career, posted 22 top-10 finishes in World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) events between 2016-19.
• Tallied a pair of victories in November 2018, winning both the Riviera MVPSF Amateur Championship and the 6th Mayor Edwin Olivarez Golf Cup.
• Also logged a pair of runner-up showings in 2018 at the Northern Luzon Regional Championship and the W Express RVF Cup Amateur Championship.
• Competed in several events in the U.S. in 2017, headlined by a fifth-place tie at the Future Champions Golf (FCG) International Junior Championship at Sycuan Resort in El Cajon, Calif., and a 16th-place showing at the FCG Callaway World Championship in Rancho Mirage, Calif.
• Finished 12th or better – with three runner-up performances – in the eight WAGR events during the 2016 calendar.

• Born February 6, 2002, Bernice is the daughter of Arnell Ilas and Evangeline Olivarez and is pursuing a master’s degree in Journalism & Mass Communications.
